the main industry, the town is between the rivers Bogie and Deveron with excellent fishing. Huntly has a long and interesting history with Huntley castle dating to the 1500s. There is a Primary and
Secondary School here a Golf course, shooting and hill walking for the ski enthusiast the Lecht Ski Centre is only 25 miles away.
Huntly has a good range of shops and the Public Library "The Brander Library" is also the Huntly Museum opened in 1885
