Lanark
famous for its market gardening, Lanark is to be found in the county of Lanarkshire,
it is a small town in the
central
part of
Scotland well situated for commuting to Glasgow and Edinburgh. There is a large modern livestock auction market on the

River Clyde. A statue of William Wallace - who lived in Lanark

New Lanark was built in the 18th century as a model

houses for the workforce that are still in use today.
